![]() (4) speed & physical/magical evasion augments could easily be a priority for gear. The Ahriel's charm skill is best used against the closest enemy in a group, which then creates a bottleneck of sorts while other enemies attack them, and you fire from range at the enemies. ![]() But 2 Vols = better overall party evasion. Now on my 2nd game, on Veteran, I've gone w/ a Vol 2ndary fighter (spear-though his defense is kind of crappy accordingly). My 1st game, I had the Prince, a Ukat 2ndary fighter, a Vol Support caster, and an Ahriel mage. (2) keep foes at range (archery/wands) and kite them. Battle Frenzy on your party, slowed opponents.odds in your favor. Then, go back later to wreak havoc on them when you're higher level. Hang in there, there's a lot of fun to be had in this game.Įdit: also, re Gannelspan, there's a few high-level enemies near the end, but you can avoid them as you try to get through and out the other side. ![]() Not all potions are gotten via your apothecaries, trust me. Later, you will get access to energy potions and more and more potions you can turn into energy potions, should you choose. Also, this game isn't quite set up for you to blow through your energy points in every fight. ![]() You should have at least 4 forts before trying to get through the outer ring areas. Also, I don't know what level you're playing at, but a good thing to do is always: (1) keep a master save when you level up (2) use quick-save as you battle through an area, in case a fight goes south and (3) have a secondary master save just before you enter a dungeon/hostile area. There are tons of places to see before you try the "outer rings" of the 3 vassal states. ![]() You don't need to try and get through Gannelspan quite yet if you don't want to. ![]()
